Washington, Aug 24 (ANI): Actor/rapper Nick Cannon has once again refused to clarify rumours that his wife singer Mariah Carey is pregnant.
When photos of Carey, 40, in Brazil emerged and started another round of pregnancy speculation, Cannon, 29, refused to divulge any information.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again – when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her,” People magazine quoted him as saying
Elaborating on a Twitter message he posted in June, Cannon stresses that the issue is delicate.
“We all know it’s extremely personal, and it is for a woman to deal with things with her body, and especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff,” he said.
But he explains that if there ever is news to announce, the couple want to “strategically plan it out properly” to avoid a “media hoopla”.
“That’s something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you’re 100 percent sure, in any situation,” he said.
“There’s a certain time limit you’re supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are and all that stuff. You don’t want to mislead anybody,” he added. (ANI)
