Free shredding event allows the community to dispose of confidential documents
safely
MIRAMAR, Fla.–(Business Wire)–
Miramar Post Office is partnering with Cintas Corporation, the leader in secure
document management services, to host a community shred event on Monday, March
8, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. This free event will take place at the post office,
located at 14900 Southwest 30th Street. Local businesses and community members
are encouraged to bring their confidential documents, such as bills or legal
papers, to have them safely destroyed on site.
“Identity theft is a growing threat for individuals and businesses across the
nation,” explained Karen Carnahan, president and COO of Cintas document
management division. “This event will bring awareness of proper document
management to the community and provide them with a secure method to safely
dispose information. More importantly, it will provide individuals with the
peace of mind that their sensitive information will not end up in the wrong
hands.”
During the event, anyone can bring their documents to the Miramar Post Office
and have them shredded by an on-site, certified Cintas employee. From drop-off
to destruction, all documents will be constantly monitored and protected.
